The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has confirmed the temporary closure of the Nyaru – Flourspar – Kapkayo – Tenges (B124) road at Kaptoror Village.
The temporary closure follows the heavy rains experienced in the area that caused huge cracks that compromised road safety.

Motorists plying the route have been advised to use alternative routes as KeNHA works to restore traffic flow.

The closure is due to massive landslides caused by heavy rains, resulting in significant sections of the road being blocked by soil and debris, and the emergence of huge cracks compromising road safety.
Motorists are advised to use an alternative route: Nyaru – Kamwosor – Ketigoi – Fluorspar. KeNHA is working to restore traffic flow and will provide regular updates.” said KeNHA
