Kericho Governor Eric Mutai has been impeached for the second time following a chaotic turn of events in the county.
The motion was moved by Sigowet MCA Kiprotich Rogony and received the backing of 33 Members of the County Assembly (MCA) ti mpeach the Governor.
It was business unusual at the County Assembly after trhe Speaker confirmed the impeachment of the Governor, even though the reason for his impeachment remains unknown.
The motion which received the backing of 33 MCA’s also saw 14 MCA’s vote against it surpassing the two-thirds ruling required to sail through.
