Saba Saba: KDF recorded patroling parts of Nairobi–Nakuru Highway
The Monday protest meant to mark 35 years since the country fought for multi party in the country, violence erupted in various parts of the country as the police dealt with the protestors.
“The KNCHR strongly condemns all Human Rights violations and urge accountability from all responsible parties – including police, civilians and all other stakeholders. We once again send our message of condolence to those who lost their loved ones and wish a quick recovery to those nursing injuries.
We are deeply troubled by reports of police violence against unarmed protesters in Kenya, including the use of lethal force,” said the commission.
The statement follows calls and condemnation by the general public over the death recorded on camera and the deployment plain cloth police using Subarus.
