The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has extended the June 30th income tax return filing deadline to July 5th, 2025.
Through a notice, the agency noted that they received a huge volume of taxpayers who were filing their returns causing the system to experience technical difficulties to process the requests.

KRA continued by confirming that all interest and penalties accrue during this period will be waived as long as the returns are filed by July 5th.
This is the second time KRA has extended the deadline with the first time being July 1st so as to enable taxpayers file their returns on time.
