The Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) is planing to hike park entry fees across the country for the first time in 18 years.
The move by KWS is meant to address a 12 billion budget gap that remains the biggest challenge to resolve.

Under the new rates, Nairobi National Park will now charge Ksh 1,000 from Ksh 430, Amboseli from Ksh 860 to Ksh 1,500 for locals and $90 for foreigners, up from $60.
The same will be the rates for Lake Nakuru for both locals and foreigners as Tsavo East and West will now charge Ksh 1,000 from Ksh 515
