Formula 1 driver and champion Lewis Hamilton is mourning the death of his dog and best friend, Roscoe.
On Friday, Lewis had posted a photo of himself and Roscoe in the hospital, requesting prayers and support during the period.
“Thanks so much for the love and support. Please keep Roscoe in your thoughts and prayers,” he said

On Monday evening, he confirmed the passing of Roscoe, thanking him for the love he had shown for all the years.
“Lost my best friend last night. Thank you all for the love you’ve shown him over the years. Roscoe forever,’ he said
Mourning Roscoe was Formula 1 and thanked him for the smiles he brought to the paddock.
“Rest in Peace, Roscoe Hamilton, a true star in his own right. Lewis Hamilton’s beloved Roscoe brought smiles to the paddock and warmed the hearts of fans all over the world.
Our thoughts are with Lewis during this difficult time. Rest easy Roscoe, from paddock pup to Dogue icon, thank you for the pawprints you left on all of our hearts,” read the statement
