Police officers manning the Suo roadblock along the Busia-Kisumu highway have arrested a suspect and recovered bhang.
The suspect, who was riding a motorcycle, was arrested, and 12 kilograms of bhang worth Ksh 360,000 were recovered. Two of his accomplices managed to escape.

Upon searching him, the officers discovered 12 kilograms of cannabis (bhang) with an estimated street value of Ksh 360,000. Two other individuals accompanying the suspect managed to escape.
The suspect is in custody pending arraignment in court, and the drugs have been retained as evidence.
