It was business unusual the Nakuru Law Courts on Wednesday after Former President Moi’s grandson Collins Kibet was sentenced to two weeks in court.
Kibet who is facing a child support case broke down in court claiming that he has been suffering and that he has begged for mercy without any success.

“I commit him to a civil jail term for two days, and we shall come back on Wednesday to give further directions on the issue,” said Nakuru Principal Magistrate Kipkirui Kibelion
He confirmed to have reached out to President William Ruto for assistance but nothing has been coming through for him.
Kibet had been arrested on 3rd July following a successful case filed by his estranged wife Gladys Jeruto Tagi over the custody of their two children.
After failing to honour court orders, Kibet was slapped with two days of civilian duty.
