Saboti MP Caleb Amisi has warned President William Ruto against constructing a church at State House saying that the move is against the constitution.
Taking on social media, the vocal MP called on the Head of State to recal the tenure of previous Presidents in the country and what they did at State House.
He continued by urging the President to focus on governance or else they will ensure that he does not get re-elected come 2027.

“Please Ruto Kenyatta never built even a mutura kiosks at statehouse ,Moi never built mursik shade at statehouse ,for uhuru you know better.
You are embarrassing yourself ,your community and family. Stop this nonsense and govern Kenya well before we remove you in 2027! Kenya needs a renaissance!” he said
The statement comes hours after President William Ruto admitted planned construction of a church at State House and that no one will stop him from doing a noble course.
He even revealed that the cost of construction will be from his own pockets and not taxpayer’s money.
“I have decided to build a church that fits the stature of the State House, and it will not cost the government of Kenya a penny. I will use my own money because the Church of God is a place worthy of respect.
I am one person who believes in God, and I have no apologies to make for constructing a church. Do you understand me? I am not going to be sorry to anyone for building a church. We shall build the church of God
Let the devil protest the decision and do that which he pleases. I am told that the papers are saying that I am building a church here at the State House. It is indeed true; I am building a church here at the State House” he said
According to President Ruto, he found an iron sheet church at State House, something that does not befit its status.
