Presidential hopeful and MP Peter Salasya has been arrested along the Isiolo-Nanyuki road as confirmed by the legislator himself.
“I have been Arrested on my way from ISIOLO nanyuki road.” he said
He continued by revealing that his car was shot down by masked men armed with AK47s who he belived were CIDs.
“Multiple unidentified vehicles intercepted and opened fire on our convoy. The tires of the car carrying Hon. Salasya were shot and the vehicle has been immobilized.
His bodyguards have been disarmed, and Hon. Salasya has been taken by force. This is a serious threat to his life and immediate intervention is needed.” he said
