Kapsaret MP Oscar Sudi has supported claims that MPs accept bribe but insists that not all are involved.
The Legislator also accused Senators of receiving bribe but questioned the involvement of Governors, Parastatals MDs and DGs in the vice.

“The statements by the President and ODM leader Raila Odinga about MPs bribery claims are true, but not all MPs are involved. Even in the Senate, it’s a minority.
However, some Senators have made graft their business. MPs who have engaged in corruption are like egg thieves, but what about Governors, Parastatals MDs and DGs, and some Principal Secretaries – what fate awaits these chicken thieves?” he said
“NG-CDF is a shining example of effective development, outdoing county-funded projects in many areas. In my Kapseret constituency, NG-CDF has completed 10 projects for every 3 by the county governments.
With a 97% utilization rate, NG-CDF funds are transforming lives at the grassroots. In fact, counties should be disbanded, given their underwhelming impact compared to NG-CDF.” he continued
The statement follows allegations by President William Ruto that MPs accept hefty bribes of upto Ksh 150 million so as to look the other way in various committees.
The MPs have denied the claims calling for action from the Head of State if he is aware of those implicated in the allegations.
