Foreign Affairs CS Musalia Mudavadi has come to the defense of Tanzania President Samia Suluhu who has been under fire after deporting Kenyan activists.
Speaking during an interview with Citizen TV, Mudavadi defended President Samia Suluhu’s remarks condemning the arrival of Kenyan activists in the country to attend to Tundu Lissu’s trial.
The CS however clarified that he does not support the deportation of the activists but termed the recent events in the country in regard to causing chaos it is true.

President Samia Suluhu in her statement accused the activists of destroying their country and instead opted to enter Tanzania and destroy the existing peace.
Responding to Mudavadi’s statement were Kenyan leaders who have condemned the response by the Foreign Affairs CS terming it absurd.
“Our Minister for Foreign Affairs taking Tanzania’s side on the deportation of Kenyans is wild. Who put these people in power? Bure kabisa.” said Senator Sifuna
