Popular Nairobi City PSV matatu uppercut alias makmende has been involved in an accident Nairobi PSV matatu uppercut involved in an accident in Nyeri.
At the time of the accident, the matatu was on a road trip before it overturned injuring several passengers on board even though the number is yet to be confirmed.
Confirming the accident was Kenya Red Cross who said that there emergency rescue team was at the scene assisting with the rescue.
“A PSV matatu has been involved in a road accident at Dedan Kimathi Ward, Tetu Constituency, Nyeri County. Emergency response teams are at the scene supporting rescue efforts.” said Kenya Red Cross.
Hours before the accident, the matatu was recorded plying the Thika Super Highway and being driven in a reckless manner, in total disregard of the danger it posses.
“The nganya known as Uppercut we had reported swaying along Thika Road earlier has crashed in Nyeri on a road trip.” said Motorist Association
