A-list couple Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have separated after almost 20 years together, as revealed by a source.
The Oscar-winning actress and four-time Grammy-winning country singer have been married since 2006 and have two children, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14.
Reporting the news first was TMZ, which confirmed that Nicole Kidman has been taking care of the children. The couple has been living apart since the summer.
Nicole Kidman is reported to be against the separation and has been trying to save the marriage.
“Keith has acquired his own residence in Nashville and has moved out of their family home,” said a source to TMZ
Months after their union, Keith checked into a rehab for drug and alcohol addiction. According to the couple, the journey made their union stronger.
“Everything was just designed, I believe, for that moment to fuse us together,” said Keith
“I look back now and realize Nic has taught me so much and brought so much into my life and opened my eyes in so many ways,” he continued.
