Police drawn from Likoni Sub-County headquarters have arrested a notorious drug peddler in Tonge Nyama area, Likoni.
Acting on a tip-off from members, the police arrested one suspect and recovered 284 rolls of cannabis stashed inside his house.
“On 30th August 2025, officers from the Likoni Sub-County headquarters, acting on a tip-off from members of the public regarding a notorious drug peddler, conducted an operation in the Tonge Nyama area.

During the raid, the officers arrested one suspect and recovered two hundred and eighty-four (284) large rolls of cannabis sativa, which had been stashed in a sack inside his house.
The suspect is currently in police custody and will be arraigned in court on Monday, 1st September 2025.
