Police acting on a tip-off have arrested one suspect and recovered 320 rolls of cannabis sativa in Vihiga County.
Once arrested, the suspect was taken into custody pending his arraignment in court. The recovered bhang has been kept as evidence.

“Yesterday, officers from the National Police Service, acting on a tip-off, conducted an operation in Mpaka Village and arrested a suspect in possession of 320 rolls of cannabis.
The suspect was escorted to the police station and placed in custody, pending processing and arraignment in court. The drugs were seized and secured as evidence at the same station.
The Service commends the officers for their steadfast commitment to combating narcotics and illicit brews,” said National Police Service.
