The plane carrying US Secretary of Defence Pete Hegseth has made an unexpected landing in the UK, as confirmed by the Pentagon.
It has since been revealed that the plane carrying the Defence Secretary was from a Nato meeting in Belgium when the windscreen was confirmed to have developed a crack.
“The plane landed based on standard procedures and everyone onboard, including Secretary Hegseth, is safe,” read the statement.
