President William Ruto has reached out to Meshack Ojwang, the father of social media influencer Albert Ojwang and donated Ksh 2 million.
Confirming the news was Albert’s father who thanked the Head of State of considering his son like his and reaching out to him.

“I want to thank God because from here forward, it is only by His grace that we will move on. We are still shedding tears; I am still overwhelmed with grief. Without God, we would not endure. I also express gratitude to the President for calling me and embracing this responsibility as if I were his own kin.” he said
The news comes in a day that the Deputy Inspector General of Police Eliud Lagat announced his decision to step down from his position to pave way for investigation.
