The prices of Super Petrol, Diesel, and Kerosene will remain unchanged as confirmed on Sunday by the Energy Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA).
Through a statement, the regulator said that the current prices will remain in place from 15th December 2025 to 14th January 2026.
“In accordance with Section 101(y) of the Petroleum Act 2019 and Legal Notice No.192 of 2022, we have calculated the maximum retail prices of petroleum products which will be in force from 15th December 2025 to 14th January 2026.

EPRA increases pump prices for Super Petrol, Diesel and Kerosene
In the period under review, the maximum allowed petroleum pump prices for Super Petrol, Diesel, and Kerosene remain unchanged,” said EPRA
In Nairobi, Super Petrol, Diesel, and Kerosene now retail at Kshs.184.52, Kshs.171.47 and Kshs.154.7,8 effective midnight for the next 30 days before the next review is done.
“The prices are inclusive of the 16% Value Added Tax (VAT) in line with the provisions of the Finance Act 2023, the Tax Laws (Amendment) Act 2024, and the revised rates for excise duty adjusted for inflation as per Legal Notice No. 194 of 2020,” they said
The news has however been received with mixed reaction as many Kenyans expected the prices to reduce so as to ease the cost of living and increase their incomes in turn.
