Angry youth carrying the body of slain social media influencer Albert Ojwang stormed Mawego police station before setting it on fire.
Mawego police station is the where the late teacher was taken after he was arrested and before he was taken to Nairobi’s Central Police Station.

The incident was an act of protest and anger among the villagers following his death whose investigation is underway and has been linked with high government officials.
Police on the ground could be seen rushing to put the fire off and rescue some crucial documents. Others could be seen bringing out their valuables before reinforcement came in.
The incident has been termed as a reminder to the government over the silent anger Kenyans have against them especially in are region currently enjoying the fruits of the broad-based government.
