Quickmart Supermarket has come out to deny allegations that dead bodies have been discovered at there OTC branch in Nairobi, a day after the June 25th protest.
Through a statement shared on social.media, Quickmart revealed that business was interrupted at both the OTC and Ruiru branches following the protest but no fatalities were reported.
“Contrary to misleading information circulating on digital platforms, we wish to assure the public that no staff, customers, or any other individuals were injured or deceased at the two outlets.” read the statement.
They continued by emphasizing that the security of there employees and customers remain there top priority especially at this moment.
“While we recognize that the recent events have posed a significant challenge for these outlets, we want to emphasize that Quickmart is deeply committed to restoring normalcy as swiftly as possible.
We are actively engaging all necessary measures to ensure continued service excellence and to support our shoppers and staff during this time.” said Qucikmart.
The news comes at a time when a huge crowd gathered around there branch following allegations that dead bodies had been discovered there.
