The funeral committee, chaired by Deputy President Kithure Kindiki, has confirmed that former Prime Minister Raila Odinga will be laid to rest on Sunday, 19th October.
Speaking from Karen, Kindiki revealed that the body of the ODM chairman will depart India tonight and is expected to arrive at JKIA on Thursday at 8:30 am.

Once at JKIA, the body will be received by the President and other leaders before it is escorted to Lee Funeral Home.
On the same Thursday at noon, Members of the public will be allowed to view the body at the Parliament building until 5:00 p.m.
On Friday, a state funeral will be conducted at Nyayo Stadium, where dignitaries will be present. It will then depart for Kisumu, where residents will be allowed to pay their last respects at Moi Stadium before it departs by road to Bondo, Siaya County.
He will finally be laid to rest on Sunday, as confirmed by the committee, which said that it was his wish that he is laid to rest in the shortest time possible.
