Southend Airport has been shut until further notice after small medical aircraft crashed before bursting into flames.
At the time of the incident, the Beech B200 Super King Air was heading to Netharlands following its departure at 3:45pm.
“All flights to and from the airport have been cancelled while police, emergency services and air accident investigators are attending the incident.
