Three suspects have been arrested in Kuria West, Migori County after a shoe was thrown at President William Ruto.
The Sunday incident has seen the police pursue more suspects linked to it as they aim to arrest the person behind it.

A police officer speaking to Citizen TV confirmed that even though the incident could be politically motivated, they suspect that it had been planned ahead of the President’s tour.
The Sunday incident happened as the Head of State was addressing the crowd in Kehancha area on top of his car.
“Tupunguze gharama ya…” said the President before the shoe came flying and hit him on his hand.
The security team attached to the President quickly responded by coming closer to him as the event was halted for some time.
