Two planes belonging to Easy Jet and heading to Paris and the other to Gibraltar clipped wings at Manchester Airport on Friday.
Confirming the news was Easy Jet who said that the two planes came into contact while taxing at the runway at Manchester Airport.
“EasyJet can confirm that the wing tips of two aircraft came into contact whilst taxiing to the runway at Manchester Airport this morning,” read the statement

They continued by saying that the passengers were offered a refreshment voucher as plans were being done to get a replacement aircraft.
“The aircraft returned to stand to disembark customers who have been provided with refreshment vouchers whilst replacement aircraft are arranged to operate the flights.” they said
The safety of our passengers and crew is our highest priority.” they continued
The incident disrupted services at the airport as investigations got underway.
