Arsenal is exploring the possibility of expanding the current Emirates stadium capacity beyond 70,000 seats.
The new project is set to rank Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium as the London’s largest venue amid stiff competition from Tottenham and West Ham United.
The project has also been inspired by Real Madrid’s Santiago Bernabéu who redeveloped their stadium to include steeper stands.

The total cost of the project is estimated will cost £400-500 million and will funded by the club owner Stan Kroenke’s KSE group.
Arsenal will likely move to Wembley Stadium during this period even though they will first seek approval from Islington Council and Transport for London before proceeding.
As things stand, the work may begin in 2028 after approvals are granted and the club gets together the neccessary funds.
