Ambani will now take over from Dan Shikanda who held the position for six years following his election back in 2019.
The new chairman is well known in the Ingwe circle for being part of the squad that clinched the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Premier League in 1998.
Other clubs that Ambani has played for include Tusker, a club that he is remembered for being the top scorer back in 2006 with 21 goals.
