Mookh Africa, the official ticketing partner of Chan, has confirmed that Chan tickets were affected by bots on Tuesday, which overwhelmed the system.
Through a statement, Mookh Africa noted that their team is working to ensure that tickets go to fans and not bots.

“Our team is actively working to stop this so that tickets go to fans—not bots,” read part of the statement.
The statement follows frustrations shared by Kenyans who were unable to secure tickets for Friday’s quarter-final clash between Kenya and Madagascar at the Moi International Sports Center Kasarani.
Even though the statement has given people hope, anxiety still surrounds whether they will all secure the tickets before they sale out.
