The board at Chelsea football club is confident in the leadership of Enzo Maresca despite recent defeats.
The board has also expressed confidence in Maresca handling the project at the club, bringing an end to speculation about his future.
They will however review his performance and make a decision at the end of the season.

“Chelsea board never had doubts: Enzo Maresca remains the manager and there are no issues or thoughts about immediate change.
Barring any surprises over the next 8 months, Maresca seen as ideal manager to lead the project and any review will be made at the end of the season.” said Fabrizio Romano.
The news follows the club’s recent back to back losses against Bayern Munich and in the Premier League, raising questions as to whether he will get Chelsea across the line as at the end of the season.
