Premier League side Chelsea is considering signing a new striker before the transfer deadline, a decision floated on Saturday.
This follows another decision on Saturday, blocking the loan move of Nicolas Jackson to Bayern Munich barely hours after landing in Munich.

Among the names suggested internally is Conrad Harder of Sporting, with the move being considered a permanent relocation to London.
“Chelsea considering signing striker before deadline. CFC not allowing Nicolas Jackson loan but permanent possible. Lack of loan replacements means permanents being explored – enquiries made for Conrad Harder of SportingCP & others.” said David Ornestein
The news follows the injury of Liam Delap on Saturday during their clash with Fulham. Delap has been ruled out for about six to eight weeks.
