Cole Palmer ends goal drought in Chelsea win against Everton

Youngster Cole Palmer ended his goal drought for Chelsea on Saturday, thanks to their win against Everton at Stamford Bridge.

The 23-year-old ended his goal drought in the 21st minute, thanks to an assist from Mano Gusto. Gusto doubled the lead for Chelsea before halftime from Pedro’s free kick.

Speaking after the clash, Enzo Marseca said that the England international is still working on his fitness after suffering groin discomfort.

Palmer has demonstrated his class in the fixture and that he is ready to fire  for Chelsea in their upcoming clashes.

The win left Chelsea in fourth position with 26 points, level with Liverpool, who also won their Saturday fixture against Brighton at Anfield Stadium.
