Four suspects arrested in connection to the assassination of Kasipul MP Charles Were have been arraigned before JKIA Magistrateās Court.
Following a successful application, Magistrate Irene GichobiĀ approved the detention of the four suspects for 30 more days to pave way for investigation.

According to prosecution, the allocated 30 days will be key in collecting crucial evidence that could increment the four and lead to the arrest of a police officer also linked to the death.
Investigations into the case revealed that the suspects had purchased a new mobile number which was switched off after their intentions were fulfilled.
One of the suspects William Imoli Shighali well known as Omar Shakur is accused of firing the killer shot and has been linked to Ā Mujahidin gang. Imoli was arrested at Zeitun Lounge in Roysambu.
Imoli together with the other two suspects led to the police to the house Ā Juma Ali Hikal, an administration officer where a car believed to have been used in conducting the murder was recovered.
