Jubilee Party Secretary General Jeremiah Kioni now claims that former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua secretly works with President William Ruto.
Speaking on Sunday, Kioni revealed that the former Deputy President held a secret meeting with leaders from Naork where he explained why DCP will not field a candidate in the upcoming by-elections.

He continued by saying that Gachagua met 15 leaders including members of the clergy where he told them after discussions with the Head of State, DCP will stay clear of the by-elections.
“Gachagua told them that William Ruto has already sent emissaries to them and they had an arrangement to put their houses in order and then meet to have a discussion.
And he was saying “by that time I will have the 7 million votes from the mountain region, 1 million from Kalonzo and 800,000 from Matiang’i. I will now have more than half of the cake and I will share some of it with the Maasai community. So Joshua you should wait, we will nominate you,” he said
Accoridng to Kioni, Jubilee party is open to working with like-minded people who believe in sending President William Ruto home.
“We would like to work with like-minded parties that actually believe in sending William Ruto home not in,” he said
