Ousted Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has been summoned by the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) over claims that he poisoned twice.
The under fire Gachagua is expected to appear before the Directorate Headquarter on Tuesday where he is expected to shed more light on the allegations that have shocked the country.
Speaking on Sunday following his release from Karen Hospital, the ousted DP noted that there have been two attempts on his life in August and September during his work trip of Kisumu and Nyeri respectively.
According to Gachagua, if anything happens to his life and that of his family, then President William Ruto should be held accountable.
He continued by revealing that when the attempts on his life failed, a plot to impeach him then began with the aim of removing from power as he was against most of the President’s decisions.
Gachagua revealed that he was against the affordable housing program, over taxation and the Adani takeover saying that Kenyans are unhappy about it.
President William Ruto has been accused of facing rejection but instead he is looking for a yes man as his deputy.
