Gengetone artist Shalkido has passed away following a hit-and-run incident that left him hospitalized at Kenyatta University Referral Hospital.
The 30-year-old Wamlambez Wamnyonyez hitmaker suffered head injuries following the 4 am motorbike accident.
At the time of the accident, Shalkido was heading home from a gig in Thika. Police have launched an investigation and are currently pursuing the driver involved in the accident.

Kenyans took to social media to mourn the artist, who they claim was too young to pass on and had a bright future ahead.
