I will not quit, says Ruben Amorim after Europa League defeat

Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has expressed confidence to continue at the club despite a Europa League final defeat against Tottenham Hotspurs.

According to Amorim, he will continue with his duties at the club and will only leave when the board or fans think otherwise.

“I will not quit. I am confident in my job and I will not change anything” he said

“If the board or fans feel that I’m not the right guy, I will go the next day without any conversation about compensation… but I will NOT quit” he continued

He continued by confirming that he will not change anything at the club and neither will he defend himself.

“I’m confident in doing this job if the board let me. And as you can see, I am confident in my job” he said

“I will NOT change anything in the way I do things. I’m not here to defend myself” he continued

Defending the manager was Bruno Fernandez who described him as the right coach for the future of the club and that he is the right man for the job.

“I do think Rúben Amorim is the right man for us.” he said.

“I don’t think what happened this season shows exactly what he is as a manager. I do think he’s the right manager for the future of this club” he continued
