Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka is drumming up support to become the next President of the country saying he is the man to watch come 2027.
Kalonzo was speaking on Saturday during the fundraiser to construct the Priest’s house of Kyua Catholic Church in Machakos where he said that it is not easy supporting Raila Odinga in 2027.
“Today was a day of celebration with the Kyua Catholic Church faithfuls at Katangi that is in the process of becoming a Parish. Together with several leaders, we held a fundraiser to aid in the construction of the Priest’s house to the joy of the congregants. Praise be to God.” he said

He continued by quoting recent comments by ODM party leader Raila Odinga who noted that Kalonzo was ready to become the next President of the country.
Kalonzo also noted that the Azimio coalition was intact and that they will be continue walking together. “Our brother spoke his mind and we are still walking together, no turning back,” he said
In attendance during the event was Machakos Governor Wavinya Ndeti who vowed to launch an aggressive presidential campaign when the time is right.
Also touched during the event was the recent demolitions in Mavoko which have been termed as violation of human rights.
