Kenya Railways has confirmed temporary suspension of the 10PM Mombasa to Nairobi passenger train.
Through a notice, they noted that the suspension is temporary.

They continued by saying that the notice is for the safety of there passengers who were to arrive in Nairobi on Monday morning.
“We regret to notify members of the public that due to technical issues, the Madaraka Express 10PM passenger train from Mombasa to Nairobi has been suspended.” read the statement
The notice comes at a time when institutions and business have confirmed closure come Monday ahead of Saba Saba demonstrations.
The move could also be due to the planned protests which have sent fear among many especially those from major cities.
