Paris Saint-Germain head coach Luis Enrique has confirmed the imminent departure of goalkeeper Gigio Donnarumma.
Speaking on Tuesday, Enrique noted that his departure from the club is due to his decision, as he now seeks a different kind of goalkeeper.
“Donnarumma is out of the squad as it’s my own decision. I am 100% responsible”. he said
“I want a different kind of goalkeeper and I made this decision. Gigio is one of the best GKs in the whole world, ”.He continued.
The news comes at a time when the Italian goalkeeper has been linked to a move to Manchester City, with the deal depending on the depature of Ederson.
Manchester City have also enquired about the goalkeeper, a statement that may soon escalate before the close of the season.
