Citizen TV Presenter has been rumoured to be eyeing the Mvita parliamentary seat come the 2027 general elections.
On social media, a video of t-shirts barring her name and the seat could be seen getting printed suggesting that the allegations could be true.
A separate video of the presenter in Mombasa has also surfaced where she could be seen interacting with locals and moving around the neighbourhood.

What could have been interpreted as a campaign launch, word has it that she runs a foundation that looks after the less fortunate in the area.
“Citizen TV’s news presenter Lulu Hassan has sparked a heated political debate in mvita constituency, in Mombasa county as a result of her recent philanthropic activities through Lulu ya Jamii foundation.
Over the last few months, the foundation has been running a series of activities including visiting the less fortunate, empowering Women and youths within Mvita earning her Lulu a new name “Mama Mvita.”
Although she has not publicly declared any interest in politics, Lulu who also runs a powerful film production company says she is just giving back to society.
Mvita based political opinion shapers however maintains that she might be interested in a political seat in the upcoming 2027 general elections or even later as witnessed through other Media personalities who have in the past ditched the careers and use their influence to sail in the murky waters of politics.” said City mirror.
