Several pupils are feared dead following a Saturday road accident involving Maadili Primary School which overturned along the Mathioya-Gitugi road.
Two of the students are reported to have succumbed to the injuries while receiving treatment at Murang’a Level 5 hospital.
At the time of the accident, the students were heading from Nyeri where they had attended a scout event when the accident happened.

The bus overturned, rolled off the road and landed in a thicket causing the deaths which are yet to be confirmed as at the time of publishing the post.
Police responded quickly to the incident as rescue operations were underway to remove students who had been trapped inside the bus.
Investigation into the accident has also been launched with the bus looking shattered and completely crashed on the upper side which was facing the ground as seen in the pictures.
