Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk has officially been charged by FA for anti-doping violation, months after he was sidelined over the same allegation.
Mudryk who has been missing from the game since November 2024 tested positive for meldonium, a performance-enhancing substance and faces up to four years if found guilty of the charge.

The charges levelled against the 24-year-old have caused a discussion over his future and the negative impact of the allegations to the club.
The FA is now waiting for results from sample ‘B’ whose finding will either confirm or refute the previous allegations levelled against him.
“We can confirm that Mykhailo Mudryk has been charged with Anti-Doping Rule Violations alleging the presence and/or use of a prohibited substance, in terms of Regulations 3 and 4 of The FA’s Anti-Doping Regulations.
As this is an ongoing case, we are not in a position to comment further at this time” said FA
