Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro has threatened to expose the contacts of Vodacom directors if the planned sale of Safaricom shares proceeds.
Speaking on Monday, the Legislator noted that the price offered to the parent company is way below the real market price, meaning that it is being sold at a discount.
According to the Ndindi Nyoro, the current price per share is lower and that Kenyans should be allowed to purchase the company’s shares.

“Safaricom Sale must be halted. The “negotiated” price is now lower than the “Market Price” meaning GoK is selling at a discount.
If GoK will not effectively represent the people of Kenya in the sale of Safaricom, Kenyans will directly engage the directors of Vodacom including the Chairman – Justice Saki Macozoma and CEO – Mr Shameel Aziz Joosub. We must get the rightful value as a Country,” he said
Ndindi Nyoro continued by threatening to expose alleged Ugandans buying a stake of Kenya Pipeline, which is currently being floated to the public.
“The people in Government purporting to buy Kenya Pipeline stake camouflaged as Ugandans will soon be known by the Kenyan people,” he said
The Kiharu MP has gain popularity over his expertise on matters stocks, had earlier called on the government to sell its shares to oversees markets to pave way for cashflow and expansion of the telcom company.
