Nigerian striker Victor Boniface has failed his medical at AC Milan, with the Italian club calling the deal off afterwards.
Both Bayern Leverkusen and AC Milan had settled on a €5 million loan fee and €24 million buy clause and the player was ready to join in the last 48 hours.

Speaking after the news was Bayer Leverkusen director Rolfes who called on Boniface to return to Germany and rejoin them.
He also revealed that his physical condition had improved of late.
“If Boniface comes back to Leverkusen, the AC Milan deal will be over. That’s no big secret,” he said
“Renegotiating the deal? I don’t think that will happen”, he told BILD.
“His physical situation has improved compared to the beginning”. he said
