DCI detectives have arrested the prime suspect behind the attack of Kitengela Sub-County Hospital on July 7th.
Elvis Otieno Owino was identified through a CCTV footage before he was flashed out from hsi residence in Noonkopir.

The detectives were able to recover clothes that he used on the day of the attack which will also be used as exhibit.
“Elvis Otieno Owino, identified through CCTV footage as a key suspect in the invasion and malicious property damage at Kitengela Sub-County Hospital during the July 7, 2025, protests, has been apprehended.
Upon his arrest, Owino led investigators to his rented residence in Noonkopir, where they recovered a black Marvin cap and a grey jacket, items he was captured wearing during the incident.
Owino is now in custody as authorities continue to process the case and pursue additional leads to bring other suspects to justice.” said DCI
