US rapper Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar well known as Cardi B has won a $24 million civil assault lawsuit filed by her former security guard.
Emani Ellis accused the 32-year-old rapper of assaulting her back in 2018 during a doctor’s visit in in Beverly Hills.
According to Ellis, the rapper spat and used insults, allegations that Cardi B, who was heavily pregnant at the time denied and maintained that no physical contact occurred but a case of privacy violation.
The case was followed by a number of emotional hearing for the next three days including personal pressure caused by being famous.
