President William Ruto has appointed former Kesses MP Swarup Msihra as the chairperson of the Board of Directors for the Kenya Biovax Institute Ltd.
Through a gazette notice dated November 22, 2024, President William Ruto also appointed former Chief of Defence Forces General Robert Kibochi as the new Chairperson of the Board of Directors for Mwai Kibaki Referral Hospital.

Also appointed by the Head of State is former Rarieda MP Nicholas Gumbo as the Chairperson of the Board of Directors for the Kenya Sugar Board.
The notice confirms that the new appointees will serve for a period of three years with their tenure taking effect immediately.
