Sports commentator Sean Cardovillis dies at his Westlands house

Capital FM sports commentator Sean Cardovillis has passed away on Satirday morning at his Westlands house as confirmed by the media company.

Mourning Sean, Capital FM termed him as one with the most iconic voices and infectious enthusiasm on matters sports that made him a household name both locally and internationally.

“Cardovillis was a Sports News Presenter and premiered the popular Saturday Music and Sports show.

His last interview was with multiple World Champion Faith Kipyegon, which is scheduled to air in today’s show.

Once again, we pass our condolences to the family, colleagues,  friends and our listeners following this devastating report.” said Capital FM

Also speaking after his demise was Capital FM Editorial Director Bernard Momanyi who termed Sean Cardovillis a legend who worked with passion and dedication bringing the sports to their listerners.

“We have lost a legend. Sean’s passion and dedication to bringing the world of sports to our listeners was unmatched and his legacy in the world of sports journalism will forever remain an integral part of our newsroom’s identity.” said Bernard.
