A 24-year-old female was on Monday hacked to death by her husband in Kiromwok area, Bomet County following a domestic dispute.
The incident that has shocked the community was confirmed by Bomet County Police Commander Edward Imbwaga, who said that the victim was found with the compound with deep head and hand injuries.

It has since been confirmed that the couple has had a history of domestic disputes, something that both families tried to solve but to no avail.
The husband and prime suspect, identified as 27-year-old Lenox Kipngeno Korir fled the scene after the incident and went into hiding.
A manhunt for Korir has since been launched, with the murder weapon also nowhere to be found.
The body of the deceased has since been moved to Longisa Hospital Mortuary as the investigation continues.
Those with any information regarding the suspect’s whereabouts have been urged to share with authorities.
