A 65-year-old man from Sirikwa Ward, Kuresoi North Sub-County, Nakuru County killed his wife before taking his own life following a domestic disagreement.
The incident which has left residents shocked, is reported to have occcured after the husband stabbed to death the wife before taking his own life later on.

Speaking after the incident were the village elders Joseph Kurui and Robert Kiget who said that the wife was found dead in their bedroom and covered with a blanket. The husband was found hanging and dead inside the house.
They continued by saying that the two were previously involved in family disagreement bu they were shocked to hear about an ongoing confrontation.
The couple had five children with the last born being a form three student.
The incident was condemned by a pastor and a neighbour who said that turning to alcohol to solve problems was not the right way to handle issues.
Their bodies were taken to Molo sub-county mortuary as police kicked off their investigation.
